Hotspot Troubleshooting

When connecting to a Gozoe Wireless Hotspot you should automatically be directed to a login page. If you do not have a hotspot account with Gozoe Wireless, choose the create account option from the login page. You will then be redirected to the account setup page where you will set up your account including your username and password.

WIRELESS

If you are having trouble connecting to a wireless SSID:

* What is a SSID: A service set identifier, or SSID, is a name used to identify the particular 802.11 wireless LANs to which a user wants to attach.  These are the network names you see when you view wireless connections to see what wireless networks are avaialbe. i.e. gozoehotspot

  •  Make sure your computer is wireless capable
  •  Make sure your wireless adapter is enabled
  •  Make sure you have only 1 wireless utility actively running on your computer

If your wireless connection shows connected but you cannot get a login page:

  •  Make sure your Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) settings are set to obtain automatically.     From your network connections right click your Wireless Connection icon–> Properties –> Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
  •  Make sure your cookies and temporary internet files are cleared
  •  Make sure your computer is free from viruses, trojans, adware, spyware, worms, and all other malicious programs or software
  •  Make sure you do not have active firewalls or security features blocking our login page

If you get a login page but you cannot login:

  •  Check your caps and number lock
  •  Make sure you are using the correct username and password
