Gozoe Wireless was founded by 4 men locally in Marshall Texas who saw a need that Marshall and surrounding area's had.   The need for Broadband access both inside Marshall (in certain areas) and outside of Marshall's city limits including 10,000 residents.   The need was certain but the vehicle just came available at the end of 2004.   Putting our heads together we formulated a plan to provide access to the surrounding area's as a primary while making this new Broadband solution available to in-town residents as well.   Perhaps most importantly was the need for CLEAN Broadband Internet access to our local community.  

  The basic need of everyone in our society has quickly evolved from requiring Internet access to requiring Broadband Internet service which is great if you live in or near a moderate sized city, but if you don't there is basically 1 consistent option which is satellite service.   Most that have bought satellite service are not pleased with the cost/performance ratio.   The problem lies in the affect of weather and the limited amount of throughput from satellite access.   The difference between traveling over 45 miles into space through all kinds of conditions to traveling 1-8 miles to a tower 120 feet in the air are very significant in terms of reliability and amount of throughput(speed).   The reason for this is that technology just is not there for the satellite customers where as the Broadband wireless technology has definitely arrived and is only going to get better, faster and cheaper.   This new technology is feasible to us in Marshall and East Texas because it is non-line of site technology which simply means the limitations of 100 foot pines and hills are now not insurmountable obstacles.

  Providing a Broadband solution that is cleaned at the source is something we have not seen and believe it is of the utmost importance to local families and businesses who feel as we do that while the Internet is both the greatest tool of our time it is also the most dangerous.   We simply desire to clean the content at its source and allowing the customer to override when necessary to access a site that may potentially contain offensive content.   Control is then placed back into the hands of the individual, without having to figure out which software or program actually works and does not frustrate by blocking everything even harmless sites.   We have done all of the research for our customers and we have been using this company for over 2 years with no complaints.   This vision is obviously just an extension of the vision for gozoe.com 2 years ago for dial-up services, only this service is available locally only at this time.
